Heinz was predeceased by his mother, Maria, his father, Peter, his stepfather, Phillip, and his brother, Johann. Heinz was born in Bessarabia, Romania on January 4, 1923. In 1939, all German immigrants had to leave their homeland and resettle in Germany. At the young age of 17, Heinz enlisted into the Air Force and served in the Second World War. Thank you Heinz for your bravery! In 1948, Heinz immigrated to Canada with many dreams and was blessed with many talents. Heinz loved music and so he formed a band which he named the Golden Five. The German Hall, Alex Hotel, and many weddings enjoyed their music. In 1957, Heinz bought land along the Assiniboine River and Hwy #1 West. There, he built a yearound resort he named Sunny Harbour Beach. Four thousand people were baptized in the pool he built. Heinz loved and served people proudly, and he loved his horses. In 1973, Heinz built White Horse Furniture, which became known throughout Canada and USA as the ' King of Solid Oak ' and created numerous jobs. He built and donated many church pews, crosses, chairs and alters. His dedications and hard working hands never rested. Heinz was a dedicated member of the Immanuel Pentecostal Church. He served and loved his Lord. Heinz was baptized by immersion in 1992. His passion was to sing. The family would like to thank the Pastoral staff, wonderful friends, and church members for their continued prayer, support and love. We would also like to thank our other family members in Canada, USA, and Germany for their love and continual prayers. Pallbearers will be his immediate family, Peter, Justin, Derrick, Donny, Rick and Alfred.
