Suddenly on Friday December 26, 2003 at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg Horace Calvin Flett passed away at the age of 58 years. Horace was born in Gillam Manitoba on November 17, 1945 and resided in Churchill most of his life then relocating to Winnipeg due to his illness with diabetes.
He is survived by his wife Rebecca Rabiscah, mother Roma Flett, sisters Jessie, Janet, Lorraine, Devon, Elsie and Anne Marie, brothers; Lawrence, Glen and Dale.
He was predeceased by his father Jimmy Flett and Grandmother Noar Jean Massan.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday January 3, 2004 at 1:00 P.M. at the St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Churchill Manitoba with Rev. Martha Spence officiating. Interment to follow at Churchill Cemetery.
Many thanks to Health Science Centre Dialysis, Ekote Lodge Staff, Gull Wing Handicap Transportation and all nursing personnel that took care of Horace while living in Winnipeg. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Horace’s memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 102-310 Broadway, Winnipeg, R3C 0S6.
