Pop star Michael Jackson died June 25, 2009 after going into cardiac arrest at his Los Angeles home. He was 50. Michael Joseph Jackson was born in Gary, Indiana on August 29, 1958, the seventh of nine children. At a young age, Jackson showed began performing with his brothers as The Jackson 5.
