Peacefully, with his family at his side at St. Joseph's Hospital on Thursday, October 29, 2009, in his 80th year. Predeceased by his loving wife Armida (nee Di Stefano). Loving father of Daniela and Renzo Conz, Luigi and Susan Di Benedetto, Gabriela and Brian Petersen, and Umberto and Cynthia Di Benedetto. Cherished Nonno of Amelia, Simon, Christopher, Matthew, Joseph, Natalie, Jonathan, Julia, Latisha, Ciarah and Tiah. Dear Brother and Brother-in-Law of Aldo (deceased) and Maria; Celeste and Carolina; and Genarino and Cesarina. Pelino will be sadly missed by many relatives and friends. He was a former custodian with Bishop Ryan Secondary School for many years. A special thank you to Aberdeen Gardens and the Doctors and Nurses of St. Joseph's I.C.U. Visitation at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL on Saturday 3-6 p.m. and Sunday 6-9 p.m. with vigil prayers Sunday at 8:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Joseph's Church (Locke and Herkimer) on Monday, November 2, 2009 at 10 a.m. Entombment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
