On October 19, 2009 at the age of 94. She was born in Comuna Ponoarele, Romania. She married her great love, the late Anghel Moisin in 1939. Through two World Wars and Communism, she was a dedicated and unfailing wife, mother and grandmother. She was the heart and centre of the Romanian Community in Hamilton. A selfless force, a tireless volunteer and a passionate cook, she was the mother of all who came in contact with her. Muti is survived by her loving family, her daughters Mihaela Moisin and Angela Manolescu, their spouses Florian Sandulescu and Dan Manolescu, her grandchildren Sandra and Danut Manolescu. She will be deeply missed by her sister Georgeta Delurintu, her niece Ileana Tanasie and her spouse Ion, her nephew Ilie Delurintu and her great-nieces Claudia, Roxana and Cristiana. Her niece, nephew and great-nephew Carmen, Dan and Michael Spadaru will always have her in their heart. She is adored by her nieces and nephews Eleodor, Ana, Dorian, Cristina, Michael and Andrea Popescu. Much appreciation and gratitude go to her friends Sanda Breaz and Maria Arnautu, her Doctors and CCAC staff who gave her such good care especially her family physician Jonel Miklea and her specialist D. Treleaven. Visitation at the the FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton Street East (near James), Burlington on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with Panachyda at 7:30 p.m. and on Thursday from 12 noon until time of service at 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel. Interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery, Burlington.
