Passed away peacefully at Alexander Place, Waterdown, on Saturday, October 31, 2009 in her 94th year, with her family at her side. Predeceased by her beloved husband Edwin Thomas Carey (1971). Loving mother of Shirley and Ted Kent of Waterdown, George and Diane Carey of Millgrove, Murray of Millgrove, and Rodger and family. Loving grandmother of Darlene and Colin Kent of Maple Ridge, B.C., David and Cathy Kent of Burlington, Darrell Kent of Valens, and Joe and Teresa Carey of Strabane. Loved great-grandmother of Samantha and Jenelle Kent of Maple Ridge, B.C., Dorian, Laughlin (predeceased), and Shane Kent of Burlington, and Elizabeth Carey of Strabane.

Visitation will be held at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill St. N., Waterdown on Tuesday, November 3, 2009 from 10 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 11:30 a.m. Interment Millgrove Cemetery. A reception will follow at the Funeral Home.
