Peacefully, with dignity and courage, Douglas Brown passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2009 with Heather and his loving nursing home staff by his side. Now may he rest in peace. We fondly remember Roseanne, his beautiful wife and our mother. Cherished father to Heather Brown-Oster and Jacqueline Brown. Beloved grandpa to his A Team, Alexander, Alyssa, and Anastasia Brown-Oster. Predeceased by his sister Beverley Madden (Paul) and survived by his sister Norma Morris (Henry) and brother Jim Brown (Diane) and his nieces and nephews. Survived by Marilou Brown and step-sisters Deborah Furlich and Kimberly Brown. He was grateful for his many friends, loved ones and all of the cherished memories he lived and died with.

Cremation has taken place. Friends are invited to join the family for a Memorial Service at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill Street North, Waterdown on Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at 2 p.m. followed by a Celebration of his Life at the AMERICAN HOUSE, corner of Dundas St. and Mill St., Waterdown.
