Unexpectedly, yet peacefully while surrounded by his family, at the Hamilton General Hospital on Wednesday, October 21, 2009, at the age of 75 years. Joe will be missed by his loving wife of 54 years, Janice, and by his children, Tina (Tom) Briatico, Gail (Mike) Visschedyk, Janice (Jim) Nicholson, and Dolores "Lori" (Eddie) Falcioni. Dear Grandpa of Holley, Kenny, Michael, Kim, Hayden, Zack, Kevin, and Jacob. Loved brother of Angie (Bill, predeceased), Maryanne (Joe), Bill (Bev), Sam (Adrienne), the late Masie (Joe) and loving brother-in-law of Lawrence (Marge), Gerald (Irene), and Mary Lou (Len).

Friends may visit with the family at the KITCHING,STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill Street North, Waterdown on Friday, October 23, 2009 from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. A Funeral Prayer Service will be held at 6:30 p.m. followed by a reception in the Family Centre. Private cremation. If so desired, in lieu of flowers, donations to the Pulmonary Hypertension Association of Canada would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
