Forever in our hearts
Lieve oom Jan, neven en nichten, Dear uncle John and cousins, Our deepest sympathy and condolances to you all. We in Holland will miss tante Maaike too and we will remember her as she was when she was visiting us: full of joy, laughing and having a good time taking with my mother in here beloved Frisian language. Here passing away shocked us, because it was so suddenly. We hope and pray you will find the strength to accept her departing this life, and you find comfort in the many beautiful memories you all have about tante Maaike. May God be with you during these difficult days. Veel liefs and a big hug from Willem en Judy

Dear Uncle John and cousins, My Christian condolences to you with your loss. May you feel God's loving arms wrap around you and the peace that only He can give. I have fond memories of staying at your place while our parents went away. Also, it was nice to visit her last week with my mom. She is now with her heavenly Father and will one day be reunited with us as well.

May God Comfort You
Dear Uncle John and cousins, Our deepest sympathy to you all. May God be your strength at this time. Tante Maaike will be dearly missed. I remember staying at her place while dad and mom went away on vacation and she made the best chocolate cake. She spoiled my sister and I while we were there and made us feel so at home. Tante Hilda and I had a wonderful last visit with her on this past Friday afternoon. She talked about the her kids and how much she loved them and how she loved to listen to her hymns on the headset while in the hospital. It's hard to believe she is now no longer here on earth with us, but she is in such a better place in heaven with the Lord and all her loved ones. We know what you are going through and our thoughts and prayers are there for you right now and in the days ahead. God will be your strength, love, Doug & Lucinda Sluys
