At the Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital, Burlington on Sunday, October 11, 2009, the Lord took unto Himself Margaret VanderHout (nee VanderVelde) in her 78th year. Beloved wife of John VanderHout. Loved mother of Annetta Skelly (Darrell), Clarence (Joanne), Ed (Donna), Maurice, and Martin (Barbara). Cherished grandmother of Jonathan Skelly (Jasmina), Andrea (Grant Jackman), Jenna (Peter Verheij), Krista, Laura (Jeff Donker), Michele (John Galer), Bailey, Courtney, Keegan, Bryden, Wyatt, and great-granddaughters Cheyenne, Siena Jo. Dear sister of Jennifer Turkstra (the late Jack), twin sister Rudy VanHolst (Bert), Ebby VanDyke (Peter), Tieteke DeGraaf (Gerry), Hilda VanderVelde, Annie VanderVelde, Peter VanderVelde (the late Suzanna), John Bremer (the late Tina). Predeceased by her brothers John VanderVelde, Fred VanderVelde (Audrey). Margaret will be sadly missed and fondly rememberd by her brothers and sisters-in-law Mac VanderHout (Frances), Tony VanderHout (Diny), Andy VanderHout (Betty) and many nieces and nephews both in The Netherlands and Canada.

Visitation at BURLINGTON CHRISTIAN REFORMED CHURCH, 3422 New St., Burlington on Wednesday from 1-4 PM and 7:15-9 PM where the Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2009 at 11 AM. Pastor Shawn Brix officiating. Interment Woodland Cemetery.
