Peacefully at Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital on Friday, October 9. 2009 Elsie Ofield (nee Goodbrand). Beloved wife of the late John Ofield. She will be dearly missed by her children, son Gordon & Cheryl, daughter Joanne & Paul Branston both of Waterdown. Elsie was the much loved special grandma to Ryan. Survived by sister Gertrude Gunby and sisters-in-law Muriel Dixon and Velma Ofield. Predeceased by her brother Ivan Goodbrand. Elsie will be missed by her nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, Elsie was very involved in her community with Millgrove United Church, Flamborough Horticultural Society. the the many euchre clubs. Special thanks to the caring staff at the Village Manor. Friends will be received at the KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill St., N., Waterdown on Tuesday afternoon 2-4 p.m. and evening 7-9 p.m. where funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at 1 p.m. Interment Millgrove Cemetery.
