At Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital, Thursday, October 8, 2009. Cherished husband of Edna Van Rynsoever since 1999. Beloved husband of Mary Marguerite (1995) for 51 years. Dear father of ten children: Joanne and Cliff Wilson, Paul, Bob and Heather, Mary Margaret Rowles, Vince and Harvey, Greg and Francine, Veronica and Nick Hopkins, Dan, Frank and Marian, Patricia and Paul Fram. Grandfather of twenty grandchildren: Debbie (Geoff), Alanna (Waylon), Darren (Carrie) and Lisa, Sean and Lauren, Kristian and Jordan (Jeff), Nathan, Ryan, Nicole, and Shane, Brandon and Malina, Carolyn and Robbie, Jessica and Justin, Eric and Justine and Great grandfather of nine great grandchildren. Brother of Margaret, Ray, Leo, and brother-in-law of Barbara, Irene, and Bill. Predeceased by brothers Frank, Jim, John, Tom, Gerald, sister Kathleen and sisters-in-law Angela, Marnie, Vivian, Bernice and Margaret. Vince will be fondly remembered by the Van Rynsoever and McCarthy families. A very special thank you to Dr. Grzeslo, Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital nurses and staff on the 4th and 5th floors for their care. Vince was an employee of Dofasco for 37 years, retiring in 1980. He was a charter member of St. Gabriel’s Knights of Columbus Council 10061.

Family and friends will be received at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill St. N., Waterdown on Monday from 2-4 and 7-pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at ST. PATRICK'S ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH, 196 Kenwood Avenue, Burlington on at Tuesdsay, October 13, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Ancaster.
