After a courageous struggle, Stan passed away peacefully on October 6, 2009 with his loving family by his side. Loved dearly by his wife of almost 35 years, Mary (Stewart). Beloved father of Meagan (Ryan), Laura and Martha (John). Beloved Grandpa of Braeden. Predeceased by his loving sister Jean Granger and brother-in-law Chief Warrant Officer Tom Granger (ret.) and his nephew Glen Granger. He will be missed greatly by his nephews Grant Granger and Stephen Granger, and his niece Shari Avery (Granger), and by his many friends.

Visitation will be held at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill St. N, Waterdown, on Friday, October 9, 2009 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. with rosary at 8:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at ST. THOMAS THE APOSTLE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 715 Centre Rd., Waterdown, on Saturday, October 10, 2009 at 10am. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the wonderful staff of the Hamilton General & Henderson Hospitals & the Juravinski Centre, as well as the loving, caring staff of the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice for their excellent care & support.
